On this occasion, an awareness programme was organized to educate the students about the importance of the ozone layer and the need for its protection. Prof. Sunita Verma highlighted the major causes of ozone depletion and motivated the students to adopt environmentally friendly habits in their daily lives.The students participated enthusiastically in poster-making and slogan-writing competitions related to environmental protection. They also took a pledge to reduce the use of ozone-depleting substances and to contribute towards the protection of the environment.Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari appreciated the efforts of the Eco Club and NSS Department. She emphasized that protecting the environment for future generations is the collective responsibility of all of us.On this occasion, Prof. Randeep Dhoot, Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra, Dr. Anjana Malhotra, Dr. Parveen Saini, Dr. Sonam Gupta, Dr. Neenu Sharma, and Prof. Jyoti Saini were present and added to the significance of the programme.The programme successfully created awareness among the students about ozone protection, environmental conservation, and sustainable living.
