Till 1980s. fashion was the bastion of the rich and famous. It was 1990s that brought fashion into the middle home. This led to a huge spurt in opening of thousands of boutiques and thereafter fulfilling their dreams of becoming fashion designer. Fashion industry has generated a huge demand for the designers not for clothes but also for accessories, furnishings, home decorations and so on. This diploma is designed to the needs of increasing trends in fashion in the modem era. The practical knowledge makes one indent, self-sufficient and successful in life. It is one-year diploma course after graduation.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Teaching in schools and colleges. Boutique owners, work as Dress Designer in Fashion Houses, to act as a Counsellor to hold Exhibitions/Craft Melas at various cities, to work as Dress Designer for fashion shows, modelling world.
