04 Feb 2022 ↑ (World Cancer Day 4th February 2022) Science department of Shanti Devi Arya mahila College Dinanagar, celebrated "World cancer day " on dated 4th February 2022, under the the able guidance of esteemed Principal Dr. Reena Talwar. The theme of World Cancer Day 2022 is "Close the Care Gap" It is about understanding and recognizing inequalities in cancer care around the world. Everyone deserves access to cancer care. Dr Reena Talwar said that, This year is a reminder of the enduring power of cooperation and collective action. When we choose to come together, we can achieve what we all wish for: a healthier, brighter world without cancer. Cancer prevention is action taken to reduce the risk of getting cancer. This may include maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding exposure to known cancer-causing substances, and taking medicines or vaccines that can prevent cancer from developing. During this day students participated by making posters, slogans and giving speeches.
