Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari in her welcoming speech thanked the guests and said that we are very fortunate that the students of our college got the opportunity to participate in this campaign. We give birth to crime to fulfill our desires, because our needs are less and desires are more. She requested the students that we should avoid this type of crime in our life for which we have to control our desires. Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Gangadhar Kadhu, Additional Chief Vigilance Officer, while addressing the students said that greed and fear are the biggest causes of crime. Our life revolves around fear, hope and greed. Whether we do right or wrong, every work is governed by this triangle. In the absence of these, even educated people and those sitting on responsible posts prove to be ignorant and get cheated. Often people take right or wrong decisions in panic due to fear. Mr. Sunil Arora, Senior Religion Manager, Punjab Gramin Bank, Dinanagar, said that digital fraud occurs when criminals try to use email, websites, malicious software or other methods to know your personal details or trick you into making payments. Vardhman Group is the biggest example of this.
Vikram Singh, Vigilance Officer, gave detailed information on call merging fraud. The stage was managed well by Dr. Neenu Sharma, Head of the Department of PG Commerce and Mr. Arun Thakur, Retired Senior Manager. In the end, Mr. Sunil Arora thanked the Principal Dr. Saral Nirankari, Secretary of the Managing Committee, Mr. Dharm Indu Gupta and the guests who had come. During this, the entire staff of the college was present.
