Dr. Sushma Gupta mentioned that Kathgarh, Himachal Pradesh, is home to a rich diversity of flora, including Gymnosperms (pine trees, cycas) and Angiosperms (oak trees, sunflower garden). The region's temperate climate supports beautiful species like Rhododendrons and Himalayan Birch. Medicinal plants such as Rhododendron, Sarpagandh, Calotropis, and Stramonium are also found in Kathgarh. Bamboo grows in lower altitudes of the area, while wildflowers like primulas and edelweiss bloom in the spring. The area also supports fruit orchards, including apples, apricots, and pears. Mrs. Sunita Verma highlighted the necessity of environmental cleanliness during the students' visit to Kathgarh temple. Encouraging devotees to respect cleanliness by keeping their offerings, wrappers, or any other waste in designated trash bins can also contribute to the environmental cleanliness. Her efforts inspired a sense of responsibility towards nature. Such initiatives foster a cleaner, more sustainable community for all. The visit to the temple was an immersive experience where spirituality and the natural world harmoniously blended together, allowing visitors to appreciate both the sacred and natural beauty of Kathgarh. 89 students and 10 teachers from the science department participated in this visit. Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari appreciated the efforts of the Eco Club, EBSB Club, and Science Department for the successful organization of this trip. During this day, Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mrs. Sunita Verma, Dr. Parveen Saini, Ms. Kajal, Mrs. Pallavi, Ms. Savi, Ms. Kirti, Ms. Deepika, Ms. Mandeep, and Ms. Deepti were also present.
