Madam Principal, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Mr. Anil Gupta, Ms. Namita Gupta, and Ms. Anju Gupta along with other members of managing committee gave her a floral welcome. Swami Sadanand Saraswati ji showered his blessings. The event commenced with lighting of sacred lamp. Dr. Kulwinder Kaur presided over the stage. In her welcome address, Madam Principal gave an insightful views recurring the relevance of Teej and threw beams on the achievements of the college. Ms. Amandeep Kaur motivated the students to be empowered and to be connected with their roots and acclaimed culture. With the support of Madam Hardeep, Librarian, the teachers of Punjabi department laid a spectacle of folk art and Punjabi culture. The guests and the students feasted their eyes and appetites on all the delicacies and stalls. In the contest of Ms. Teej, judged by Ms. Randeep Dhoot, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Dr. Sonam Gupta and Ms. Gurpriya, numerous students participated. Tamanna Saini, B.A. 3rd sem was crowned the 2nd Runner Up, Shivani, M.A. Hindi sem-1 as 1st Runner Up and Madhu, B.A. 3rd sem as Miss Teej. At the end, the guest was bestowed with the college souvenir. Principal Madam appreciated the valuable contribution of Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Dean, YWD and Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Coordinator, YWD and all the other teachers involved in the preparation.
