15 Sep 2025 ↑ Under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), The Post Graduate Department of Hindi, celebrated Hindi Diwas on14th Sep, 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event was held under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and the direction of Head of the Hindi Department, Dr. Dimpal Sharma.Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The programme commenced with a floral welcome to the Principal by the Hindi Department. While addressing the students, Dr. Nirankari highlighted the objective of Hindi Diwas, emphasizing that in a Hindi-speaking state, a student may learn Hindi (as the first language), another modern Indian language such as Marathi or Bengali (as the second language), and English (as the third language). To mark the occasion, the Department successfully organized Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Poetry Recitation, and Speech Competitions. The winners were:

Poster Making: Diksha (1st), Malvi (2nd), Amandeep Kaur (3rd)

Slogan Writing: Diksha (1st), Chahat (2nd), Sakshi (3rd)

Poetry Recitation: Neetika Mahajan (1st), Pammi (2nd), Sandeep Kaur & Diya Babbar (3rd)

Speech Competition: Ayushi (1st), Disha Sharma (2nd), Kashish (3rd)

The event was evaluated by Dr. Neenu Sharma (Head, Department of Commerce), Prof. Hitesh Bhardwaj (Head, Department of Sanskrit), and Prof. Neha (Head, Department of Fine Arts), who served as judges.

The programme concluded with Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari felicitating the winners with certificates. The event was also graced by the presence of Prof. Sunita Verma, Prof. Priya Thakur, Prof. Manpreet, and Prof. Abhinash Kaur.
