28 Jan 2024 ↑ Under the able patronage of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, The birth anniversary of lala Lajpat Rai was celebrated by organising a movie screening on his life and sacrifice on 28th January, 2024.

Addressing the students, Madam Principal said that Lala ji created a legacy of nationalism, unity and strength as he was a freedom fighter who was a firm believer in India’s independence, dedicated his whole life to the cause and played an important role in the Independence movement. Ms. Monika Mahajan, Head, Department of History, said that he promulgated the message of using indigenous products as it gave a major boost to the local economy and increased self-reliance. The students thoroughly enjoyed the screening inculcating the sense of patriotism. Madam principal appreciated the efforts of Ms. Monika Mahajan and her organising team.
