14 Aug 2024 ↑ Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and Ms. Sonia, Head, Department of Cosmetology organised Three-Day Mehndi workshop from 12 to 14th August, 2024 in the Cosmetology lab. According to the viewpoint of Madam Principal, Mehndi is an ancient art form that adorns the body with intricate designs, symbolizing beauty, spirituality, and the bond between tradition and culture.

 The objective of this workshop was to provide students with hands-on training and expertise in the art of mehndi application, enhancing their skills and knowledge which ended with a huge success as it covered various aspects like:

Day 1: Introduction to basic tools of mehndi art

Day 2: Practicing traditional and contemporary mehndi designs 

Day 3: Advanced techniques of implementation

For this workshop, an expert was called who shared his expertise and provided guidance to students. Furthermore participants also expressed their gratitude for the opportunity they got. Moreover, students gained confidence, developed understanding and acquired knowledge in those three days. At the end of 3rd day, the guest was honoured by Madam Principal along with other staff members. The workshop ended with resounding success over which Principal Ma'am appreciated Ms. Sonia the head of cosmetology department for her efforts and promoted her for organising such workshops in future also to enhance the students skills and knowledge.
