12 Jan 2023 ↑ Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, NSS Department Of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College Dinanagar has started 7 Days Special NSS Camp commencing from 11th January to 17th January 2023. 250 volunteers of 5 Units have been enrolled to attend the camp under the supervision of NSS Program Coordinator Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra and NSS programme officers Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mrs. Sunita Verma, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Mrs. Jyoti Saini . On the opening ceremony of the camp Principal Madam addressed the volunteers and told them about the importance of NSS motto” Not Me But You “. She motivated all the volunteers to give their best services in the adopted village “Saidipur”.

On the first day of the camp , volunteers started Swachhta Abhiyaan in the college campus. All the lawns and flower beds were maintained by the students and extra weeds were removed. All the Pots were cleaned for pot painting . A team of volunteers and NSS programme officers went to the adopted village Saidipur to inform the Sarpanch Mrs. Prabha Minhas about the camp activities to be done in the village. A door to door message of the camp was given by the volunteers to all the residents of village .
