18 Nov 2021 ↑ Under the able guidance of esteemed Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and the untiring efforts of Dr. Kulwinder kaur, the head of Punjabi Department, Prof. Randeep kaur, the head of Political Science Department,the PG library In-charge Ms. Hardeep kaur, Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar celebrated "Guru Nanak Dev ji’s birth anniversary" with devotion and reverence on 18th November 2021.

More than five centuries have passed,but the words of Guru Nanak Dev ji still resonate with us and are relevant till date giving everyone serious thoughts about how this world should be. On this occasion, 'Sukhmani sahib' path was observed by the Principal, staff members and students of the College.They paid tributes to Guru Nanak Dev Ji by spreading his divine message of harmony , humility and equality. The Community kitchen, 'The Langar’ was the most remarkable event of the day. The Langar prepared and distributed by staff and students aimed to promote oneness, equality, love and brotherhood among the students. The Aim was to exemplify the students to live up His preaching of ‘Naam japna, kirat karna and Vand chhakna’.
