06 Jun 2022 ↑ Under "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Mission" Departments of Science,NSS, NCC celebrated “World Environment Day” on 5th June 2022, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar. She told that the main objective of celebrating this day was to make students aware about the nature and environment. She also threw light on the theme of “World Environment Day” June 2022 : “Only One Earth”. During this day, the tree saplings were planted in the college by Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, teachers of Science, N.S.S., N.C.C. departments and members of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club.

Principal Dr. Reena Talwar said that human life exists because of the atmosphere of the earth. The environment provides everything necessary for our breathing, from air to food and drink, and on earth, gives a favorable environment to live. All this is a gift of nature. The universe runs smoothly only because of nature and environment. Nature gives us a lot to live for but in return humans only exploited nature and polluted the environment. Due to which the nature is being harmed, as well as the existence of life is also in danger. In such a situation, it is the duty of every human being to try to keep the environment safe. Control the increasing threat of global warming, marine pollution and increasing population, so that the protection of the environment can be ensured. For a healthy and safe environment and for the restoration of the ecosystem, we should plant more and more trees so that our environment remains pure.

To celebrate this day, many competitions such as poster making, slogan writing, collage making, were organized in the college and students actively participated in these competitions. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar honored the winners with prizes.

On this occasion Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mrs. Sunita Verma, Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra, Mrs. Deepak Jyoti, Mrs. Jyoti Saini, Mrs. Parveen Saini, Dr. Anjna Malhotra and Mrs. Neenu Sharma were also present.
