28 Mar 2022 ↑ Under Achievers Program: Success Stories of the Champions of Gurdaspur, BCA second sem student Kumari Sakshi of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar was given a scholarship of Rs.5100 by Deputy Commissioner Mr. Mohammad Ishfaq and MLA Batala Mr. Aman Sher Singh. Under this program, financial assistance is given to those students whose financial condition is weak but they are very good in studies and other fields.

 In this program, Sakshi shared her life experiences and told how she has continued her studies while facing many financial difficulties. NCC department of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar made a significant contribution in her struggle.NCC department of SDAM College is providing financial assistance to Ms. Sakshi since class 11th. Being an NCC cadet, Sakshi has also earned many awards in various NCC camps. Sakshi is also a very good singer.The event was  live broadcast on YouTube.Principal Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated Sakshi for getting this scholarship . Dr.Reena Talwar appreciated this commendable step of Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur  Shri Mohammad Ishfaq and Secretary Red Cross, Gurdaspur Mr.Rajiv.  ANO Lt. Dr. Anjana Malhotra of NCC congratulated Ms. Sakshi for getting this scholarship.
