Many students and teachers participated in the activity. On the propitious day of Saraswati Puja, Principal Madam and teachers showered their blessings on students and inspired them to run on the path of knowledge, enlightenment and wisdom. Highlighting the relevance of the day, madam Principal said that Basant Panchami day is the reminder to all devotees that its not only one day event but they learn the value of lifelong learning and the pursuit of knowledge. According to the viewpoint of Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, the festival honours the goddess Saraswati, who is revered by intellectuals, artists and students alike as the patroness of learning. Yellow colour signifies spring, therefore, it is used in different preparations be it main course or dessert. A special delicacy called 'Meethe Chawal' was also served to one and all to mark the eminence of the day.
