07 Nov 2024 ↑ To conduct a cleanliness drive along the riverbank and promote environmental awareness among the local community, the NCC Cadets embarked on a noble initiative under the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan on 7th November 2024. The cadets, led by Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and NCC ANO Dr. Anjana Malhotra, converged at the River Apar Bari Duab Nano Nangal rest house in village Bhatoya, near Dinanagar. The cadets cleaned riverbank: Cadets collected plastic waste, polythene bags, and other non-biodegradable materials littered along the riverbank.

Cadets interacted with locals, educating them about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and the need to protect water bodies. This initiative has instilled a sense of responsibility among our cadets towards environmental conservation. The cleanliness drive under Puneet Sagar Abhiyan was a resounding success, demonstrating the commitment of students towards environmental sustainability.
