01 Mar 2025 ↑ The Science Department organized a National Seminar on 1st March 2025 under the guidelines of the State Nodal Agency: Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, catalyzed and supported by NCSTC, DST, and GOI, and under the solicitude of Sh. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary Managing Committee, able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, and under the supervision of Coordinator Mrs. Sunita Verma. The function started with the enlightenment of Vidya Jyoti, recitation of Ved mantras, and floral welcome of the resource persons. The stage was conducted by Dr. Anjna Malhotra.

During this day, Principal Madam threw light upon the NSD 2025 theme that is "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat." Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Director General and Chief Executive Officer, Indian Council for Development and Regional Cooperation (ICDRC) New Delhi was the chief guest, and Dr. Renu Bhardwaj, Professor in Botanical and Environmental Sciences, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar was the keynote speaker at this event, who talked about the goals of sustainability, sustainable development, energy saving, the importance of ancient education systems of India, and challenges in achieving sustainability. They also focused on the challenges of plastic use, pollution of different kinds, and old methods of livelihood. Principal Jaskaran Singh was the eminent guest who also inspired students to be responsible for achieving the goals of sustainability. In the end Principal Madam honoured the worthy guests. The event was a huge success, and Principal Mam appreciated the efforts of coordinator Ms. Sunita Verma and science staff. On this occasion, Principal Jaskaran Singh, Principal Mrs. Sushila Sharma, Principal Renu Kashyap, Principal Mrs. Promila, Principal Satnam, PRO Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Dr. Sushma Gupta, Dr. Anjna Malhotra, Dr. Parveen Saini, Ms. Kajal, Ms. Deepika, and Ms. Mandeep, Ms. Deepti, and all faculty members were also present.
