08 Sep 2023 ↑ The sacred festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp on 8th September 2023 by the Post Graduate Department of Hindi under the aegis of 'Internal Quality Assurance Cell' and under the able patronage of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar.

Krishna Janmashtami also known as Gokulashtami, Shrikrishna Jayanti , and Janmashtam, celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.The program started with recitation of devotional song followed by lighting of the lamp. Dr. Poonam Mahajan, head, Department of Hindi conducted the stage. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and members of the Managing Committee Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Mrs. Namita Gupta and Mr. Naval Mahajan graced the occasion to seek the blessings of lord Krishna. Referring to the stories of Lord Krishna, madam principal inspired everyone to be on the path of truth and everlasting faithfulness. Prabhu Bhajan, Krishna Mathura Gaman, Meera's devotion to God, Maharaas, Draupadi Chirharan and Dahi Handi  were the special attractions in the programme. In the end, Chhappan Bhog was offered to Thakur ji and Prasad was distributed along with Aarti. The teachers of department Dr. Poonam Mahajan, Ms. Dimpal, Ms. Priya and Ms. Manpreet along with the students put their tireless endeavours to adorn the function. The participants were commended with certificates by Principal Madam and guests. At the end, Lord's Prasad was distributed in the college premises.
