College Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari was the chief guest, and Dr. Neenu Sharma (Head of the Commerce Department), Madam Randeep Dhoot (Head of the Political Science Department), Dr. Anjana Malhotra (Head of the Political Science Department), Dr. Deepak Jyoti (Head of the Computer Science Department), and Dr. Dimple Sharma (Head of the Hindi Department) attended as special guests. The Punjabi Department welcomed the Principal with a flower pot. The program began with a Shabad recitation by a young girl, Namandip Kaur. On this occasion, the Punjabi Department held "Beautiful Writing" and "Folk Songs" competitions, and the Hindi Department held "Elocution" competitions, judged by Dr. Neenu Sharma, Dr. Anjana Malhotra, Prof. Hitesh Shastri, and Prof. Rukmini Devi. Suneha won first prize in the speech competition, Nitika second, and Ayushi third. Palak, BA Semester II, and Jahnavi, BA Semester IV, won first prize in the folk song competition, while Neha, MA Punjabi, and Kajal won second. Ajit Kaur, BA Semester II, and Diksha, B.Com., Semester IV, and Japleen Kaur, BA Semester II, won first prize in the beautiful handwriting competition. Stage moderators were Prof. Jagdish Kaur and Ms. Mehak, Head of the Punjabi Department. Finally, they thanked everyone, congratulated the students on the day, and encouraged them to stay connected to the Punjabi language. Prof. from the Library Science Department also presented the occasion. Hardeep Kaur, Prof. Priya and teachers of Punjabi department Prof. Kulwinder Kaur, Harinder Kaur, Satinderpal Kaur, Amandeep, Oma Bharti were present in the seminar hall.
