16 Oct 2024 ↑ The Postgraduate Department of Commerce successfully conducted a Tally training program titled “Tally Essential Level 1” for the benefit of commerce students under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and managing committee.The initiative was aimed at equipping students with practical skills in accounting software to enhance their employability and technical expertise in the financial sector. The training was conducted in collaboration with Tally Education Private Limited, a subsidiary of Tally Solutions, one of the leading providers of business management software. Mr. Manav Mahajan, Director of Tally Education Pvt. Ltd., led the program and provided hands-on practical training to the students.

 During the training students were taught the basics of Tally, accounting principles, inventory management, and financial reporting using the Tally platform.The college formalized its commitment to providing advanced technical training by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tally Education Pvt. Ltd. This partnership aims to foster continuous learning and upskill students with essential accounting software knowledge.At the end of the training session, a total of 50 students successfully completed the program and were awarded certificates of achievement. These certificates are a testament to the students’ newly acquired skills in the Tally software, further empowering them in their academic and professional pursuits. Dr. Sarla Nirankari Principal of the College, congratulated the students for their dedication and successful completion of the training. She emphasized the importance of acquiring practical skills in today’s competitive job market and praised the Department of Commerce for organizing such initiatives. Dr. Neenu Sharma, Head of the Commerce Department, expressed her satisfaction with the outcome of the program and reaffirmed the department’s commitment to regularly organizing similar workshops. She highlighted that such training sessions are essential in making students tech-savvy and well-prepared for the dynamic and evolving business world.
