The seminar featured a range of cultural activities, including poem recitation, folk song singing, and essay writing competitions. Dr. Paramjit Singh Kalsi, District Language Officer an eminent guest delivered a keynote address on the importance of Punjabi language and literature saying, ‘’The Punjabi Literature is a literature of great eminence and great writer have written it with a lot dedication and intellectual abilities’’. He highlighted the contributions of great writers to Punjabi literature. The competitions were judged by Dr. Neenu Sharma and Miss Rama Kapoor. The winners of the competitions Palak, Ambika, and Vaishnavi securing the top three positions in poem recitation, and Harmanjeet Kaur, Tanisha, and Anmol Preet winning the top three positions in folk song singing. Dr. Paramjit Singh Kalsi was honored by the college for his contributions in the event. Voice of Punjab, Kavita, and Harpinder Kaur were also felicitated during the event. The seminar was a huge success, with active participation from students, faculty members, and guests. Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Chheena and the PG Department of Punjabi deserves appreciation for organizing this notable event.
