This event was conducted in compliance with Government of India guidelines. During this program more than 100 volunteers and program officers were registered on the My Bharat Portal. All the volunteers and program officers received caps, diaries, pens, and gloves out of the grant received from My Bharat Portal.
On 1st October, the NSS Program Officers and volunteers collaborated with Municipal Committee workers to organize a mega Plog Run Cum Cleanliness Drive. This event aimed to clean Main GT Road Dinanagar and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Park, promoting awareness among the public under the Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign.
In this campaign, NSS, volunteers and programme officers visited Dayanand Math, Singh Sabha Gurudwara and surroundings of Dinanagar and contributed to make the city clean and green.
Municipal Committee employees, including Community Facilitator Mr. Aaprajit, Health Superintendent Mr. Rakesh Kumar, and Sanitary Inspector Mr. Harpal Singh, motivated students to maintain clean and green surroundings. They also shared methods for proper decomposition of wet and dry garbage. All the NSS Volunteers participated in these activities very enthusiastically.
