15 Aug 2026 ↑ The NSS and NCC Department organized a flag hoisting ceremony on 15th August 2026 to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of India with great zeal and patriotic spirit. The event was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and managing committee. The program was held in the college ground in the presence of Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta,Guest of the day, Hav. Pavitra Singh, faculty members, NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, and a large number of students.

 The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The atmosphere was filled with pride and unity as the tricolor fluttered high, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.NCC cadets presented a disciplined march-past and guard of honour, which was appreciated by all. NSS volunteers added to the spirit of the day by presenting patriotic songs, poems, and speeches that highlighted the importance of freedom, unity, and social responsibility. The ceremony concluded with an oath-taking, where students and staff pledged to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of the country, followed by the distribution of sweets.The celebration reflected the true spirit of patriotism and discipline. The joint efforts of the NSS and NCC departments made the event meaningful and inspiring for all. It served as a reminder that the youth are the future of the nation and must lead with dedication, courage, and service.
