11 Sep 2025 ↑ The NCC Department and NSS Department organized a commendable flood relief distribution camp and medical camp in the flood-affected areas of Gurdaspur district on 11th September 2025. The effort was undertaken under the efficient guidance of the Managing committee and Principal, Dr. Sarla Nirankari. ANO Dr. Anjana Malhotra, along with NSS officers including Professor Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra, Prof. Sunita Verma, Prof. Jyoti Saini, Prof. Randeep Dhoot, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Dr. Pooja and Ms. Avlokita played pivotal roles in making arrangements for the flood victims.

The camps focused on distributing relief materials like grocery, plastic sheets and medicines providing medical assistance to those affected by the floods in sanghol, Hassanpura, Dorangala and Makoda villages of Gurdaspur district which were badly affected due to floods in Punjab. The initiative aimed to extend support and alleviate the hardships faced by the flood victims. The collaborative efforts of the NCC and NSS departments of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College contributed to providing much-needed relief and medical care to the affected communities in Gurdaspur district. The involvement of faculty and organizational leadership highlights the institution's commitment to social responsibility and community service.
