07 Nov 2025 ↑ The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, through the "My India" portal, aims to inspire youth towards leadership, civic responsibility, and nation-building through debates, youth parliaments, and other activities. Developing India's "Youth Connect" program was organized on November 7, 2025. The program was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, Nodal Officer Prof. Sunita Verma, and Coordinator Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra. Youth icons Mr. Bhawanjot Singh and Mr. Ashish were the main attractions.The program began with the lighting of the Vidya Jyoti and a floral welcome to the guests. Mr. Bhawanjot Singh, youth icon, State Champion, India and Global Manufacturing Powerhouse, District Rupnagar, Chandigarh, served as the keynote speaker.

 In his address, Mr. Bhawanjot Singh stated that the program aims to promote youth participation and leadership with the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.The foundation of a developed India rests primarily on four key pillars and five pledges.The Government of India has five pledges: the resolve for a developed India, freedom from the mentality of slavery, pride in heritage, unity and solidarity, and the fulfillment of citizens' duties. Additionally, the 11 pledges include the fulfillment of duties, zero tolerance for corruption, and women's leadership. These are both important pledges proposed by Prime Minister Modi to achieve the goal of a developed India. The stage was ably moderated by Dr. Pooja Mahajan, Head of the English Department. Professor Sunita Verma, Professor Sangeeta Malhotra, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Professor Neha, Dr. Pooja, and Dr. Dimple were also present.
