The program began with an inspiring speech by the Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, who encouraged the students to play their role in environmental conservation. She emphasized the vital role of the younger generation in maintaining ecological balance. On this occasion, the students creatively presented topics such as water conservation, sustainable agriculture, and plastic eradication through a poster exhibition. Alongside this, a tree plantation campaign was carried out in the college campus, during which teachers and students together planted various saplings. The theme of World Environment Day 2025 was “Beat Plastic Pollution”, aiming to raise awareness about the grave effects of plastic pollution and to inspire collective global efforts to eliminate it. Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari stated that by reducing the use of plastic, adopting reuse and recycling practices, and motivating people around us to do the same, we can all make a significant contribution towards a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment.Thus, the event not only served to raise awareness but also successfully inspired students to take active steps in environmental protection. The celebration of World Environment Day conveyed the message that protecting the Earth is a collective responsibility, and its future depends on the efforts we make today.The Principal Madam appreciated the efforts of all staff members and students for the successful organization of the events.
