05 Jun 2026 ↑ The Eco Club, NSS department and NCC department jointly celebrated "World Environment Day on 5th June 2026”. The Theme of Environment Day 2026: was “Inspired by Nature, For Climate. For Our Future”.

The global campaign message for 2026 is also "Now for climate", focusing on urgent climate action and nature-based solutions. The main aim of the event was to spread awareness about environmental protection, climate change, and the need for sustainable living. Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, threw light on the significance of World Environment Day and emphasized that protecting forests, wetlands, and biodiversity is essential for human survival. She urged students to take collective action and adopt eco-friendly lifestyles to secure our future. To mark the occasion, a tree plantation drive, and cleanliness campaign was carried out at college campus. Students and staff participated enthusiastically and took a pledge to reduce plastic use, save water, and keep the surroundings clean. The event concluded with a message that small actions today can create a cleaner, greener tomorrow.During this event Prof. Sunita Verma, Prof. Randeep Dhoot, Dr. Parveen Saini, Dr. Anjna Malhotra, Dr. Neenu Sharma, Prof. Jyoti Saini,  Dr. Sonam Gupta and Dr. Pooja were also present to enhance the grace of the occasion.
