08 Mar 2025 ↑ The Eco Club in collaboration with the "Science department" under "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat mission", organized a Chetna Rally under the "Environmental Education Program" on March 8, 2025, with the aim of spreading awareness about pressing Environmental issues. The event was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, Joint Director PSCST Dr. K.S bath, and supervised by the Eco Club Coordinator, Mrs. Sunita Verma. It was supported and sponsored by the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST), the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF&CC;), and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (GOI).

In her address, Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari highlighted that the primary objective of the Chetna Rally was to raise awareness among the community about various environmental concerns, such as pollution control, plastic pollution, and water conservation. She stressed the need for everyone to play a role in protecting the environment.Mrs. Sunita Verma, the Eco Club Coordinator, explained that the initiative was aimed at engaging the community in understanding the importance of environmental preservation. She further encouraged everyone to take action, particularly in reducing plastic waste and conserving water resources.Other staff members i.e., Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra, Dr. Sushma Gupta, Ms. Kajal, Ms. Deepika, Ms. Mandeep, Ms. Deepti, Mrs. Poonam, Mrs. Kusum and  Mrs. Manwinder Bajwa  actively contributed to the success of the rally. The event aimed to inspire individuals to adopt sustainable practices and contribute to a greener, cleaner planet.
