The seminar aimed to create awareness among students regarding the growing challenges faced by society and to encourage them to become responsible citizens.Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari emphasized that youth are the backbone of the nation and must actively contribute towards eradicating social evils like drug abuse and environmental degradation.During the seminar, Professor Sunita Verma sensitized students about drug addiction, discussing its major causes, preventive measures, and the harmful effects of various types of drugs on physical and mental health. Dr. Pallavi Sharma delivered an informative lecture on environmental pollution and explained its causes, adverse impact on health, and long-term effects on society and nature. Mrs. Rama Kapoor also motivated students to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy lifestyle.The seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who also took part in an interactive session and shared their views on how youth can contribute towards building a cleaner, healthier, and drug-free society.At the end of the seminar, all faculty members and students took a pledge to say 'No to Drugs' and to plant at least one tree each to contribute towards a greener environment.The seminar proved to be an enlightening and thought-provoking experience for all attendees and reinforced the college's commitment towards community service and social awareness.
