07 Mar 2023 ↑ The brilliant students of *Home Science Department* ,under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and supervision of Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra, HOD , Home Science Dept. celebrated Festival of Holi with the inmates of Old Age Home, Babri, Gurdaspur run by Helpage, India. The students made snacks and sweets with full devotion and love for elderly people, under the direction of Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra. Under the aegis of IQAC, the college has undertaken *Green Intiative* as one of its *Best Practices*. Then students played Holi of flower petals with them. Snacks, sweets and tea were served to them by students, which they relished and then complimented the students. Songs were sung by Ms. Chahat, Ms. Harpinder and Ms. Shweta. All the inmates danced to the tunes of Holi songs with students. Dr. Reena Talwar guided the students that they should spend some time with their grandparents and should do little efforts to make them feel loved and being taken care.
