08 Oct 2026 ↑ Students once again proved their excellence in sports in Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan - District Level Athletics Competition held at Govt. College, Gurdaspur. The college athletes performed exceptionally well on the track and brought home 2 medals.

Diya - 1500 Meter Race - Silver Medal

Diwanshi - 400 Meter Race - Bronze Medal

Both the students showed great stamina, speed and sportsmanship.Principal Dr. Sarla  Nirankari congratulated Diya and Diwanshi on their achievement and lauded the efforts of the Head of Department, Miss Taljinder Kaur for her constant guidance and training which made this success possible.She encouraged other students to actively participate in sports and bring more laurels to the college and state.
