30 Sep 2022 ↑ Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College,Dinanagar thrillingly disclose that our neophyte, Simran from B.A.Social Studies, has been selected to participate in the programme which is organised by the Ministry of Education (Department of School Education and Literacy, Department of Higher Education) and Ministry of Youth Welfare and Sports (Department of Youth Affairs) Government of India in coordination with Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracy, Lok Sabha Secretariate. The programme is on "Participation of Youth of our country in paying homage to our National Leaders on their Birth Anniversary in the Parliament House." The first programme is scheduled on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri on October 02, 2022. She has been invited to take part in this programme in Parliament House for the function of floral tributes to pay homage to our National Leaders in the Central Hall of the Parliament.

During her visit to Parliament, she will be taken for a study visit to a Chamber of the Parliament House, Parliament museum, Pardhanmantri sangrahalya and National War Memorial. Madam Principle, Dr Reena Talwar lauded her achievement. She stated that she is the Real Gem who is going to glisten the name of Punjab allying with the other states of India. The management, the staff members and and the students are proud of her accomplishment.
