25 Apr 2023 ↑ SHANTI DEVI ARYA MAHILA COLLEGE organised a farewell party " UDAAN" under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar on 25th April in the auditorium of the college. The college bade farewell to the final year students of UG and PG with great enthusiasm. Function began with the floral welcome of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, Vice Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and all other respected staff members following the sacred tradition of lamp lightening and chanting Ved mantras. Principal Mam in her address gave life lessons to the outgoing students. She encouraged the students to never stop learning and growing in life. She said that the students must have curiosity and an inquisitive attitude to take on new challenges and experiences. Madam Principal also informed that the college is going to start a new course B.Voc in 'E-com & Digital Marketing' which aims at gaining a deep inside of Digital Marketing & E- Commerce industry.

During this occasion, the students gave spectacular performances in singing and dancing. The Modelling Contest of UG students was  judged by Dr. Sushma Gupta, Vice Principal and Ms.Jyoti Saini, HOD, Fashion Designing Deptt. The Modelling contest of PG students was judged by Dr. Anjana Malhotra, Pol.Sci Deptt & Ms. Sonika Gupta, Fine Arts Deptt. Both the contests had three rounds namely, Ramp Walk Round', 'Performance Round' and 'Question/Answer Round’.

Different tags were awarded to the students.

For UG, the tag of Miss Dancing Diva was won by Ms. Avantika of B.Sc FD.  The tag of Miss Charming was won by Miss Shruti of B.Sc. FD . The tag of 2nd Runner Up was won by Miss Shweta of B.A. Tag of 1st Runner Up was won by Miss Lisha Mahajan of B.Sc FD.

          Finally, Miss Nisha * of B.Sc. Non Medical was crowned with the title of *Ms. UG Farewell.

For PG, the tag of Dancing Diva was won by Ms.Priyanka of BA. The tag of Ms. Charming was won by Ms. Saloni of B.Sc FD. The tag of 2nd Runner Up was won by Miss Radhika of M.Sc IT.  Tag of 1st Runner up was won by Ms. Harpreet Kaur of M.Sc IT. 

Ms Mehak from M.Sc C.S was crowned with the title of Miss PG Farewell.

Principal Mam appreciated the tireless efforts of the Co-ordinators, different incharges of both UG and PG and the organising committee. In the  end, all the students rocked to the beats of music capturing in their eyes the cherish-able moments of the college life.
