Amidst the chanting of vedic mantras and offering of 'ahuties' in the sacred fire, Principal Dr. Reena Talwar along with the eminent members of Managing Committee, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, the secretary, Mrs. Namita Gupta, Mr. Anil Gupta and Ms. Anju Gupta along with the faculty members of the teaching and non-teaching staff prayed for the progress, prosperity and well being of the college. The sacred purifying ritual filled the college's ambience with pious aroma and positive energies. The president of the college Managing committe, Swami Sadanand Ji emphasised on the importance of girl education and told the students to participate in both educational and co-curriculum activities. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar preached Manusmriti’s the ten principles of Dharma, by which one is guided to maintain righteous living. She motivated the new students to adopt moral and spiritual values in their lives. She congratulated the staff and the students of the college for their stellar accomplishments in the university examinations in which the eight students bagged the top position and thirty students bagged the first ten positions. Owing to her righteous approach and determination, she was showered with the flower petals. She thanked everyone on this occasion and vowed to achieve greater success. The havan yajna concluded with the distribution of 'Prashad'.
