In her address, She appreciated the work of Mangat Chanchal who is known for raising various societal issues through his writings. The stage was conducted by Shital Singh Gonupur. Makhan kuhad presented a poem written by Sulakhan Sarhadi. Sarbjit Singh Sandhu commented on it by giving some suggestions and modulations. Mangat Chanchal himself recited some poems from his book. Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Head, PG Department of Punjabi emphasised the need of organising such events which quench our literary curiosity. Many prestigious guests like Dr. Rajwinder Boparai, Deep Davinder, Lekh Raj, Sultan Bharti, Comrade Mulakh Raj, Deep Devinder, Sulakhan Sarhadi, Kamaljeet, Vijay Agnihotri, Jagtar Gill, Sultan Bharti, Subash Diwana, Preet Rana, Lakhan, Vijay Talab, Gurpreet, JP Kharlawala, Sucha Singh Randhawa, Kamaljeet Boparai, were present. These eminent poets and speakers from nearby areas beautifully expressed their emotions and feelings in melodious words. The audience was enthralled and kept in flowing with the enchanting verses. Everyone was elated as they got the new released book ‘Tapash’ as literary gifts. The event concluded with loads of aspirations for holding such events henceforward.
