08 Jun 2023 ↑ Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar received the highest grade under National Rural Institutions Sustainability Grading (NRISG)

Continuing its legacy of excellence across variety of fields and attaining ranks, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College has attained excellent grades under National Rural Institutions Sustainability Grading (NRISG). Principal Madam said that the concerted efforts of the institution in the direction of fostering sustainability and swachtha in the campus has made it possible to find a place in the most coveted MGNCRE initiated NRISG 2022-23. She proudly proclaimed that the institution has set a new record in the whole Gurdaspur region by getting A+ grade in Green Cover on Campus, Surface Water Harvesting (A), Roof-top Water Harvesting (A) and grade (A) in Waste Management.It is a matter of ecstasy that the previous in the year 2021 the college was awarded with ‘One District One Green Champion Award’ by MGNCRE. Principal Madam extends her gratitude to Mr. Samarth, consultant of MGNCRE for continuous motivation and contribution. She commended MGNCRE Nodal Officer, NSS Coordinators and whole staff members for their relentless efforts in achieving sustainability goals.
