He was welcomed with floral greetings by the principal and the esteemed members of the Managing Committee, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Mrs. Namita Gupta,Mr. Indra Gupta, Mrs. Neelam Gupta and Vice Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta. The programme started with the chanting of Vedic mantras followed by lighting of lamp. The Fiesta constituted of various events in which 16 school- teams participated. Principal Dr Reena Talwar welcomed the principals, teachers and participants from various esteemed institutions. Throwing light on the activities of the college, Dr Talwar said that the main aim of organizing 'The Fiesta-2022' is to highlight the spirit of co-operation among the students. The Chief Guest Shri Varinder Bhatia, while emphasizing on Karma, said that Karma yoga awakens our self knowledge. We should never engage in an action just for the sake of reward. He asserted on the significance of 'Sanskrit' describing it the essence of our culture. He lauded the tremendous efforts of the Management, Principal and the staff members in taking this institution to greater heights. The Jury consisted of Mrs. Milan Mahajan, Mrs. Aparna Kohli, Mrs. Esha Gupta, Mrs. Arti & Mr. Vinod Sharma. Mrs Milan Mahajan said that she is proud to be in this institution while Mrs. Esha said that she has learnt a lot from this sacred institution. Mr. Pawan Kumar, Principal, D.R Puri School, said that student life is the foundation period for achieving the goal. 'The Fiesta-2022' was organised under the guidance of Co-ordinator Mr.Mohit Agarwal, Mrs. Ekta and Mrs. Rama Kapoor. The stage was conducted by Dr. Poonam Mahajan and Mrs. Neenu Sharma.In the Group Dance Competition,first position was bagged by Sumitra Devi School, PSEB. Second position was secured by Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Begowal and third Sumitra Devi School, CBSE. In the Solo Dance Competition, Vedhika, Sumitra Devi School bagged first position while 2nd position was secured by Deepak Preet,D.R Puri School and 3rd position by Vikramjeet ,Little Flower Convent School. In group song competition, Ravneet,Arya Senior Secondary School bagged first position,2nd position by Kartik ,Sumitra Devi School,CBSE and 3rd position by Harpreet,Little Flower Convent School. In PPT Competition, Khushi got first position,Honey got second position & Sukhmani got third position. In the poster making competition,first position was bagged by Rimsi, second by Saloni and 3rd by Payal and Chetna.In the Slogan Competition, first position was secured by Khushwain Kaur Mann, second position by Lakshya and third by Anamika. In the Declamation competition, Kritika, Sree Nangali School, Gsp and Hazel, Sumitra Devi School, PSEB, stood first. Riya ,Little Flower Convent School and Tanvi Govind Public School, got second position and Vanshika ,SSM School got third position. In the Ad-Mad Show Competition, first position was bagged by Sumitra Devi School, CBSE,2nd position by Gobind Public School and third position by Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir School. In the Best out of Waste Competition, first position was secured by Anamika, 2nd position by Manpreet & 3rd position by Harpawanit Kaur and Tania ,Radhika Saloni from Little Flower Convent School. During this event, Chief Guest Mr. Varinder Bhatia along with Principal Mr.Pawan, Principal Manju Bala, Principal Sonika,Teachers Mrs.Aarti Devi, Mrs Divya, Sardar Saktar Singh were honoured with momentoes.
