16 Apr 2025 ↑ Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College bid a heartfelt adieu to the outgoing UG and PG students with an exuberant farewell ceremony, Jashan-e-Rukhsati, held on April 16, 2025. The event was a grand amalgamation of nostalgia, celebration, and best wishes as the students embarked on a new journey beyond the college gates. The presence and support of the Managing Committee and Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari added grace and dignity to the occasion from the very beginning.The farewell commenced with a warm welcome, setting the stage for a vibrant evening filled with performances and excitement. The cultural segment of the program was a dazzling showcase of talent, with mesmerizing dance performances, including the traditional Gidda, that infused the evening with unmatched energy and enthusiasm.

The melodious singing performances further enchanted the audience, creating an atmosphere of joy and reminiscence. A major highlight of the evening was the ramp walk, where the outgoing students walked with grace and confidence, embodying the spirit of elegance and charisma. This was followed by an engaging dance round, where participants exhibited their energy and flair. The final segment, the question-answer round, tested their wit, confidence, and presence of mind. The participants were judged by a distinguished panel—Dr. Anjana Malhotra and Dr. Sonam Gupta for the PG category, and Dr. Neenu and Ms. Jyoti Saini for the UG category—whose keen observation and thoughtful evaluation ensured a fair and inspiring selection process.

The winners were crowned amidst loud cheers, celebrating their grace, charm, and poise.The stage was seamlessly handled by Dr. Pooja, Head of the Department of English, along with two talented student hosts, Harshita Vohra and Disha Sharma of 4th semester.The event concluded on an emotional note as faculty members and students shared their fond memories, expressing their gratitude for the time spent at the institution. The principal extended best wishes to the departing students, encouraging them to step forward with confidence and uphold the values imbibed during their time at the college
