09 Nov 2022 ↑ SDAM college celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 9th Nov 2022 in the college campus. Every year, the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, is celebrated as Guru Nanak Jayanti. It is one of the most significant festivals of the Sikh community and is celebrated across the globe every year. The occasion was marked by a recitation of pious *Sukhmani Sahib* by the staff members and the students. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated the staff members and students. She said that the role of an academic institution in addition to impart education is to inculcate moral and spiritual values in students. She emphasised that students should seek guidance and moral strength from the life teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Keeping with tradition, 'karah Prashad' was served to one and all present at the end.
