The Earth Day aims to spread awareness about issues including pollution, deforestation and global warming. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar told that celebration of Earth Day draws attention to the environment and promotes conservation and sustainability. Conservation of water and control of pollution is the need of the hour. She told that there is urgent need to raise awareness of the climate crisis and bring about behavioural changes to protect the environment.
