Mrs. Anku meenia told that millets are supergrains which are high in protein fibres, vitamins and minerals and has high nutritional value . She told that Millets have insoluble and soluble fibres. The insoluble fibre is called as prebiotic which helps in digestion of food in a better way.
Mrs. Sunita Verma told that Millets also control cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, removes bad cholesterol, control body weight, and blood pressure and prevent cancer.
Dr. Sushma Gupta gave a vote of thanks to the resource person Mrs. Anku meenia and Mr. Ruban Preet.
Principal Dr. Reena Talwar honoured the guests by presenting them insignia of the college. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated science, NSS and Home science Departments for successful organisation of the function.
