28 Feb 2023 ↑ Science department organized Seminar and Various Competitions to celebrate National Science day 2023 on dated 28th February 2023 catalyzed and supported by PSCST, NCSTC, DST , Govt. of India , under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar. The theme for National Science day 2023 was 'Global Science for Global Wellbeing'. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar welcomed the Resource Persons Dr. Paramjit Kaur, Asstt. Professor, Dept. of Physics, GNDU, Amritsar and Dr. Sandeep, Asstt. Professor, Sh. Guru Ram Das School of Planning , GNDU, Amritsar by presenting them potted plant. The function was started by Enlightening Vidya Jyoti . Dr. Paramjit Kaur threw light upon the Topic: Life and work of Sir C. V. Raman: Development of Science in India. Dr. Sandeep talked about importance of development of scientific temper in the students. Mrs. Sunita Verma was the Coordinator of the NSD celebration.

Various competitions organised during this day were: Scientific Rangoli, Declamation contest, poster making competition, slogan writing competition. 

Mrs. Sonika Gupta (Fine arts Dept.) and Dr. Sushma Gupta supervised and performed the duty of judgement during various competitions. 

 In Declamation Contest: Sakshi salaria BSc medical 2nd  Sem  got  first prize , Chahat BSc Biotech 4th Sem  got  second prize, Abhi  Saini BSc non medical 4th Sem  got third prize.

In Poster Making Competition: Shayna  B.A 4th Sem got first prize, Nupur  BSc  BT 4th Sem  got second prize and Kiranpreet B.A 4th Sem  got 3rd prize

 In Slogan Writing Competition: Jaswinder B.A 4th Sem got first prize, kirti saini BSc. Med. 2nd  Sem got  2nd prize, Priya B.A 4th Sem got 3rd prize.

In Scientific Rangoli: Nisha B.Sc Non Med. 6th Sem and Geetanjali  B.Sc  C.S  6th Sem  got first prize, Simran B.Sc Non Med. 6th Sem and Sukhmeet B.Sc Non Med. 6th Sem  got second prize, Ramanpreet BSc  BT 4th Sem  and Sakshi BSc  BT 4th Sem  got third prize. 

Principal Madam awarded prizes to the winners of competitions and honoured the Resource persons during the seminar by providing them insignia of the college.
