22 Apr 2023 ↑ Science Department of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College Dinanagar, under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Mission, under the able guidance of principal Dr. Reena Talwar, celebrated “Earth day “on dated 22.4.2023. The theme for Earth day 2023 was “Invest in Our Planet ” and Slogan for Earth day 2023 was "Give a break to a Mother Earth". Dr Reena Talwar told that Earth day is celebrated to raise awareness about environmental issues like global warming and the depletion of natural resources. The main aim to celebrate this day was to make the people aware about causes of pollution and various ways to control it & to maintain a clean and green environment.

 During this day a Poster Making Competition was organized in  which Jahanvi ( Arts student) got first prize, Arshdeep Kaur (commerce Student)  second prize and  Vanshika Agarwal (commerce Student)  got third prize. The judges were Dr. Sonam Gupta , Dr. Sushma Gupta,  Mrs. Sonika Gupta  and EBSB Nodal Officer Mrs. Sunita Verma . Principal Dr.  Reena Talwar motivated  the students by awarding them prizes and medals and asked them to participate in such events enthusiastically.
