On 22nd May 2024, The various events organized on the theme IDB 2024: “Be part of the Plan”, were Seminar, and Various competitions (Poster making, Slogan writing, Collage making) under the Patronage of Sh. Dharam Indu Gupta, management Secretary, able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and Supervision of Coordinator Mrs. Sunita Verma. Principal Madam welcomed the Resource Person Dr. Ranjit Kaur, Associate Prof. at GNDU College, Sujanpur by presenting her plant with Pot. Dr. Ranjit Kaur threw light upon the theme IDB 2024 and told that there is need to protect environment, air, water for the protection of our existence and we should plant more and more tree saplings for clean and green environment and conservation of Biodiversity. Dr. Sushma Gupta made the students aware about various types of Biodiversity and told that it is the foundation for human health. Dr. Sonam Gupta stressed on consumption of millets in food and indigenous herbs and medicinal plants for nutritional well being, Mrs. Sunita Verma threw light upon the conservation of wild life and also made the students aware about various wild life Sanctuaries, National Parks, Biosphere reserves. She made the students aware about MERI LIFE programme. Principal Madam encouraged the winners of competitions by awarding prizes to them. She also honored the Resource persons by presenting mementoes having insignia of the college. Dr. Anjna Malhotra Extended a vote of thanks to the Resource Person. During this day Mrs. Sunita Verma, Dr. Anjna Malhotra, Dr. Sonam Gupta, Mrs. Parveen Saini, Mrs. Rama Kapoor were also present to enhance the grace of Occasion.
