30 Jan 2024 ↑ Science department celebrated "World Leprosy Day" with the solicitude of Sh. Dharam Indu Gupta Ji (Secretary of management committee) and able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta under "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat mission". Principal madam threw light upon the theme for World Leprosy Day 2024: “Beat Leprosy”and told that this international day is celebrated every year on 30th January to raise awareness of the disease and call for an end to leprosy-related stigma and discrimination.

Mrs Sunita Verma told that Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease of man caused by Mycobacterium leprae and it principally affects the peripheral nerves and skin.

She told that the best way to prevent the spread of leprosy is the early diagnosis and treatment of people who are infected.

During this day Declamation contest, Poster making and Slogan writing competitions were held in which the students participated with great  enthusiasm. 

Principal madam appreciated the efforts of  prof. Sunita Verma and Science department for the success of the event.

were also present to mark the eminence of the day.
