23 Aug 2024 ↑ Science Department celebrated National Space Day to commemorate the historic success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, which achieved a soft and safe landing of Vikram lander at Shiv Shakti point on the Lunar surface under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and Mr. Bharat, Head, Physics Department on 23rd August, 2024. The Government of India has declared August 23 as National Space Day to inspire youth towards space science and applications.

 India made history by becoming the first country to land on the Moon's South Pole, marking a significant milestone in space exploration. Dr. Sushma Gupta, Principal of the college, encouraged students to explore the vast opportunities in space science and technology, saying, "As we mark this momentous occasion, I urge our young minds to reach for the stars and contribute to India's growing space prowess." The celebration included various events such as Slogan Writing, Poster Making, and Speech competitions, which saw enthusiastic participation from students. The entire staff of the Science department was present to support and guide the students.
