28 Feb 2026 ↑ Science department celebrated National Science Day on 28 February 2026 in collaboration with the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology. The event was organized under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and the supervision of Coordinator Prof. Sunita Verma.

The theme for National Science Day 2026 was “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat.” The theme highlighted the importance of nurturing scientific temperament among youth and encouraging innovation for national development.On this occasion, a Poster Making Competition and a Slogan Writing Competition were organized to promote creativity and scientific awareness among students. The students participated with great enthusiasm and presented innovative ideas aligned with the theme.The winners of the competitions were awarded prizes by the Principal, Dr. Sarla Nirankari, who appreciated the hard work and creativity of the participants. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Sunita Verma, Dr. Parveen Saini, Mrs. Kajal, Dr. Pallavi Sharma and PRO Prof. Jyoti Saini whose presence added to the dignity and success of the celebration.
