20 Dec 2021 ↑ Science and Physical education Department of Shanti Devi Arya mahila College Dinanagar under the aegis of IQAC and guidance of principal Dr. Reena Talwar organised a trip to sadda pind which is a tourist destination at Amritsar. Students were made aware of Punjabi culture at sadda pind , it was a chance to experience authentic culture, colours and flavours of Punjab in one place.The young students got a chance to reconnect with their roots and understand the traditions and values of their fathers and forefathers. Students enjoyed to see mud houses, lassi being churned , children climbing trees, artisans creating something beautiful, women singing a soulful melodies. Students enjoyed Punjab Folk Lore and relished typical Punjabi food also. Dr Sushma Gupta , Mrs. Sunita Verma, Ms. Taljinder Kaur and Ms. Manpreet Kaur accompanied the students to sadda pind at Amritsar
