12 May 2023 ↑ Red Ribbon club and Red Cross Society, under the aegis of IQAC and EBSB Club celebrated World Red Cross Day on 12th May,2023 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar. Poster Making and Slogan Writing competitions on IMPORTANCE OF BLOOD DONATION, was organised by Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra ,Nodal Officer of Red Ribbon Club of the college to commemorate this important day.. More than 30 students participated in this competition . Vice Principal, Dr. Sushma Gupta, Dean Youth welfare Dept., Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Chheena and Red Cross Coordinator Prof. Randeep Dhoot were the judges for this event and they appreciated the performance of participants. Principal Madam in her address told the importance of donating blood . She said we should come forward to donate blood and to create awareness among the society . She motivated the students by telling them the benefits of donating blood.

Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra  explained the theme of World Red Cross Day 2023 that is ,” Everything we do comes # from the Heart “. She said we should take the initiative of helping others at individual level then only , we can aware the society.Miss Akanksha got first ,Miss Vanshika got second and Miss Shweta got third position in poster making. Miss Janvi got first, Miss Tanya got second and Miss Swini Salaria got third position in slogan writing competition. Gold , Silver and bronze medals were given to the winners by principal Dr. Reena Talwar. She appreciated the efforts of both the departments and guided them to organise such events for the betterment of society.zMrs. Sunita Verma, Nodal officer of EBSB club and Dr.Anjana Malhotra ANO NCC Deptt were present on this occasion.
