09 Aug 2021 ↑ Punjab Folk Art Centre Gurdaspur is organising Two week Free workshop of Giddha and Sammi, (Folk Dances) of Punjab, in collaboration with Shanti Devi Arya Mahila college Dinanagar Punjab , under Scheme of Performing Arts Ministry of Culture Govt of India. College Principal Dr. Reena Talwar inaugurated the workshop and motivated the fresher students to learn our state culture.

She said- Young generations are more attracted to western dances and they are  forgetting the beauty of folk dances. So College is making great efforts to keep our Punjabi culture alive and passing the tradition from one generation to another.
