13 Sep 2025 ↑ Post Graduate department of Commerce under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari Organised a two days workshop on Security market on 12-13 Sep. 2025. The workshop was conducted by NISM (National Institute of Security Market) under SEBI. The Resource persons were CS Nagesh Kumar, financial Market Analyst and Mrs Anita Saini, licenciate from Insurance Institute of India. Under the mission of financial education for young children "Kona Kona Shiksha" Mr Nagesh on the first day of the workshop explained the students about the primary market and Common primary market activities like Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Follow-on Public Offerings (FPOs), and rights issues. On the second day, Mrs Anita Saini explained the students about the secondary market, fixed income instruments and variable income instruments, working of mutual funds, systematic investment plans and how to make investment in these instruments were elaborated in a very simple language to students.
